 Each year as the holiday season approaches, the team at NDG 

Communications — a Maryland-based advertising agency serving 

homebuilders nationwide — looks for new ways to show its gratitude 

to the clients, colleagues and friends whom NDG works closely with 
throughout the year.



In 2016, NDG’s holiday campaign was called “Perfect Pairings” and 

was anchored by a dimensional direct mail send that included two 

boxes. Each box contained one half of a perfect pairing — popcorn 

& a movie, hot cocoa & marshmallows, cheese & charcuterie, sugar 

& spice.



Dividing the pairings in separate boxes helped emphasize the 
concept — and headline — “Good Alone. Perfect Together.” The

package included a petal-style direct mail piece that highlighted
