NANETTE OVERLY
Vice President of Sales and Marketing Services
Epcon Communities
Nanette Overly has over 35 years’ experience in the home-building profession with a strong
track record in residential real estate sales and marketing. Her special expertise in marketing
communities to active adults and baby boomers has been shared on both the regional and
national level.
In 2007, Nanette became Epcon Communities Vice President of Sales and Marketing for both
corporate and franchise operations; after joining the company in 2000 as marketing services
manager. Her charge has been to expand the company’s franchisee sales and marketing
training programs and lead the organization through corporate expansion. Ms. Overly was also
instrumental in helping create and launch Epcon’s Foundation, Pathways of Hope.
Nanette was named Marketing Director of the Year in 2012 by the Central Ohio BIA and in
2016 was recognized at The Nationals as Silver Award for Sales Manager of the Year.
Nanette has taken a special interest in professional development and educational outreach.
She has been active in the Central Ohio Building Industry Association where she currently
serves on their Foundation Board.
DERYL PATTERSON

Deryl Patterson is an award-winning designer with more than 30 years of experience —
specializing in production residential architecture.
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, Deryl
is a registered architect in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina and
South Carolina.
Deryl’s passion is creating better places for people to live and her goal is to constantly
improve how people use their homes. She aims to not just create a shelter, but to provide
the canvas for a family to live, prosper and thrive. Deryl has developed a strong reputation
for creating visually appealing elevations and streetscapes that command attention without
breaking the bank.
Deryl is married with three adult children and applies her experience as a working mother to all
of her home designs. She is a frequent speaker at national and regional conventions teaching
builders better ways for design.
